The Virginia Geographic Information Network (VGIN) has released a
Request For Proposal to update the Virginia Base Mapping Program (VBMP)
statewide orthophotography, set to begin in the spring of 2009.  This
represents the third time since 2002 that statewide imagery will be
collected as a part of the VBMP.  All potential vendors are encouraged
to visit the eVA website http://www.eva.virginia.gov for more
information.
